Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how subscriptions to DepWarden, operated by DepWarden, are cancelled and when refunds apply. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

Free tier

The core scanner is free to use with no account and no payment. There is nothing to cancel or refund for free use.

Cancelling a subscription

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time by emailing hello@depwarden.in or through your account. When you cancel:

• Your plan stops renewing at the end of the current billing period.
• You keep access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• We do not delete your data on cancellation; you can export it during the remaining period.

Refunds

Because access continues for the period already paid, subscription fees are generally non-refundable except as required by law or as set out below:

• Billing errors: if you were charged incorrectly (for example, charged after cancelling, or double-charged), contact us within 30 days and we will refund the incorrect amount in full.
• Annual plans: if you cancel an annual plan within 7 days of the initial purchase and have not made substantial use of paid features, you may request a pro-rata or full refund of that initial payment at our reasonable discretion.
• Service failure: if a paid feature is materially unavailable for a sustained period due to our fault and we cannot remedy it, we will offer a credit or refund for the affected period.

Renewal charges for a new period are not refunded simply because the subscription was not used; please cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.

How to request a refund

Email hello@depwarden.in from the address associated with your purchase, with your invoice number or payment reference and a short description. We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method; the time for the amount to appear depends on your bank or card issuer, typically 5–10 business days.
